January 22, 2008 by News Desk 'Knowledge is the best investment that a country on the path to progress can make' & proof of it lies in India's thriving economy. The knowledge revolution has transformed India to such an extent, that Indian expatriates from Europe & the US, are returning in hordes, for better education & job prospects here. The country which many see as a land of opportunities is already ascending as an 'education superpower' today. The fact that Indian education has more demanding standards, gives it's students an edge in competitive exams & a definite international appeal. Allowing parents & students in Thailand to discover more about the strengths of India's legendary educational institutions, will be the 4th IIPSE (India International Premier Schools Exhibition) & the IEF (International Education Fair). Scheduled to be held at Bangkok on 26th & 27th January, these two exhibitions will be the largest of their kinds. Both will be held at 'Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, from 10:00 a.m to 7:00p.m & will double up as unique forums for free, fair, direct, transparent & productive interaction, between parents, students & visiting institution representatives. Thaindian.com is supporting the event. Participants at the 4th IIPSE will cater mainly to parents of school kids between 4 years to 18 years. It will include Indian & foreign schools, offering international A & O levels with international curriculums like CIE (UK) or International Baccalaureate(Geneva). Some of India's finest residential & co-educational schools with Indian ICSE or CBSE board affiliations, will also showcase themselves here. Together they will offer complete primary, middle & secondary level 'quality' education options at 'affordable' rates in 'culturally rich' & 'student friendly' environments.
The IEF on the other hand, will primarily cater to local Thai & Indian expatriate students, aged between 18years to 25 years. It will generate awareness about admission guidelines of reputed Indian & UAE universities and colleges & thereby benefit students aiming to pursue world class education, at the undergraduate, postgraduate, research, professional or even vocational level. The aim of holding the two exhibitions simultaneously is to demonstrate the potential of Indian education in drawing international students at primary & higher levels under the same roof. The event is being organized by 'Afairs', India's leading education fair organizers with over 14 years of rich experience, in association with Starcraft Exhibition. The initiative is being supported by TCEB (Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau).
