Zara Phillips And Mike TindallDec 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems like United Kingdom is all set to witness a royal wedding season. After Prince Williams and Kate Middleton announced their wedding, it is probably time for another princess to tie the knot. We are talking about none other than the eldest grand daughter of the Queen, Zara Phillips, who, following the footsteps of her cousin, decided to tie the knot with rugby star Mike Tindall. Queen Elizabeth II must feel lucky to witness two of her grand children getting bound by the nuptial knot.

Ever since she announced her engagement, the couple did not come under the public glare until yesterday, when the two cosily entertained the media in the gardens of their Gloucestershire home, amidst the chills white snow in the backdrop. However, this time, both of them deviated from the traditional ostentatious disposition, and sported a very casual winter clothing. All that the princess flaunted, was the diamond engagement ring designed by her lover exclusively for her. However, this couple too, did not comply to the prevalent family tradition of getting infused only in royal families, just like the bride’s first cousin Prince Williams. She said that she was rather shocked when Mike Tindall proposed to her for marriage, but she was too happy. On the other hand, her prospective groom said that he was delighted when his lover accepted his proposal and is very excited about stepping into a new life.

It is speculated that Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall would also be getting married shorty after her cousin’s marriage in 2011. Two royal weddings in the same year is definitely going be a double treat for the masses of the kingdom. Not only the couple, but also the royal family seems to be pretty excited about yet another wedding announcement, and that includes, Prince Charles, his two children and the queen herself.
