New York, Aug 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Officials at the Yellowstone National Park have announced that the man who was mauled last week by a grizzly bear is John Wallace of Chassell, Mich. The body of Wallace was discovered about five miles from the nearest trailhead last week by a group of hikers. This is the second grizzly fatal attack at the Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone Superintendent Dan Wenk announced that, “We know of no witnesses to the event at all. As far as we know he was in good health and out enjoying the park.”

The officials at the park guess that Wallace was probably killed on Wednesday or Thursday. Wallace was traveling alone and the last time he was seen was on Wednesday when he pitched his tent at a campground.

Park officials have set out to track the guilty bear. They have announced that they will kill the animal if they are able to accurately identify it. They plan to use DNA analysis to ensure that the killer bear is eliminated.

This is the second time that a bear has killed a visitor at the park. In July, a 57-year-old Californian man was killed when he was attacked by a female bear.
