Oct.28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) These days [with Halloween on mind], many people are searching the internet to know the weight of the World’s largest pumpkin. As stated by the sources, the largest or the heaviest pumpkin of the world weighs 1725 pounds. Jackson Township’s residents, Christy Harp and Nick Harp had cultivated the pumpkin and displayed it few days ago. People of Norwich, in the 11th Pumpkin Festival had seen another huge pumpkin, which weighed 1089 pounds. Many people who participate in different Pumpkin Festivals try to display the biggest pumpkin of the event. The spirit of people to grow the biggest pumpkin of the event adds excitement to the entire affair.

As stated by the sources, the Taborean Pumpkin Festival has been scheduled to start from 27th October and will continue till 10th November. It is expected that people would bring different types of pumpkin to this festival and make it successful. The organizers have also arranged a competition during this pumpkin festival, for increasing the excitement of people. Apple and Pumpkin Festival of the Ashley Lauren Foundation is scheduled on 7th November [Saturday].

As stated by the sources, this will surely be an exciting event and the money that the organizers would collect from this event would be deposited to the fund of non profit organization, Ashley Lauren Foundation. This organization helps children who are suffering from cancer. Pumpkin Festival is one of the most popular festivals of the country and is celebrated in different states.
