London, Feb 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) When Keith Martin lost his mother at the age of 16 years he could not deal with the loss properly. He developed a habit which would later make him the world’s fattest man few decades later.

Weighing a staggering 58 stones, Keith needs round the clock care each day. He is completely immobile, staying in bed for years. The UK government spends £50,000 each day to take care of Keith. At the age of 42 years, Keith’s faces a host of health challenges.

A new Channel 5 reality show titled “Big Body Squad” will highlight the life of Keith. Speaking ahead of the show, Keith narrated that, “My mother died when I was 16 and I didn’t care about anything after that and I couldn’t care less about what happened to me – I ate anything and everything.”

There is a big hope for Keith though. The story of his predecessor might inspire him to lose the needed pounds. Mexican Manuel Uribe was regarded as the world’s heaviest person at 90 stones. The 44-year-old has used extreme diet and other methods to reverse the trend and currently weighs just 31 stones.

Keith’s show is scheduled to be aired on next Wednesday.
