Woman uses car as a battering ram to escape from cops

Sep 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Police officers in Long Island had the shock of their lives when the driver of a car they thought had been trapped, instead evaded them. The driver instead ran into several cars, so that she could escape.

Many police officers nearly got ran down by the 41 year old woman driving the car on Monday afternoon. They therefore chased her car down from Deer Park and got her arrested in another town eleven minutes later.

Lt. Robert Edwards of the Suffolk County Police revealed that the woman ran into several police vehicles to clear up the way so she could escape. The driver, Mary Quinn who was originally being chased by police officers for contravening the terms of her parole got apprehended in North Lindenhurst. She was taken to court on Tuesday and being detailed until her unknown bail amount is paid.

One police officer who was seated in one the cars Quinn ran into with her Ford Taurus got injured in his neck. He then had to be rushed to the hospital. He’s now reportedly responding to treatment.

Quinn has been arrested so many times for various crimes such as robbery, burglary, drugs, etc. and it’s not yet clear which parole term she contravened.
