Woman Pleads Guilty In Michigan City Lottery Case

lottery_tix_003Dec 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) 22 year old Tiffany Borolov had nurtured big dreams of making the way through a shortcut. Alas her hopes did not culminate into reality. Instead she has landed in a legal soup. On Wednesday Tiffany Borolov pleaded guilty in La Porte Circuit Court. She is facing charges of having stolen cash in the form of lottery tickets from her employer. The amount that she has reportedly stolen is worth $21,000. The court has sentenced her to be kept under observation. According to sources, Tiffany Borolov will not be taken to jail but she will be monitored for 90 days.

According to sources, Tiffany Borolov who is a resident of 420 Benton Street will be monitored through a satellite tracking device. She has also been ordered to serve a probation for a period of 455 days. A source divulged that Tiffany Borolov will not be taken into prison or any other official place for the monitoring, instead she will be under house arrest where the electronic monitoring will take place on her for 90 days. This young criminal used to work at East Side Produce situated at 4666 W. From whatever documents have been produced in the court it has come that the young lady used to take the help of a scanning device through she could easily make out as to which tickets would be the winners. As a result she did not even had to scratch off the tickets fully.

The legal documents further cite that Tiffany Borolov stole 260 tickets in a single shift. Out of those 15 were those of the winners. After this she used the normal procedures of the store to collect the payoffs. The lottery store owner Mike Mussa caught her guilty when he witnessed her doing this act on a store surveillance video.
