Towson, Oct 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Baltimore County Circuit Judge called a lady “professional thief” before giving her 15 years for faking cancer. The please of 38-year-old Dina Perouty Leone did not convince the judge, John Turnbull II to tamper justice with mercy.

Leone has also been ordered by the judge to refund some $14,000 in donations that she received as a result of her deceit. It seems the judge has had enough of Leone’s tricks because the sentence he gave her was the maximum for the charge of felony theft. Leone was all tears during the sentencing and it seems she has to quickly clean those tears because if investigations into her mortgage fraud case come out against her, she will spend some more time behind bars.

Leone tricked her sympathizers to send her the money after she revealed in 2009 on Facebook that she was suffering from stomach cancer. Her plight touched many people who showed their love by sending Leone money to help her through her difficulties in fighting the disease. It however emerged later that Leone lied about her condition and she was arraigned before the court where she was found guilty of the charge of felony theft.
