Winning Powerball tickets sold in Delaware, York counties
February 5th, 2010 - 2:57 am ICT by BNO NewsMIDDLETOWN, PENNSYLVANIA (BNO NEWS) — Two winning Powerball tickets from the Feb. 3 drawing were sold in Pennsylvania. One ticket worth $1 million was sold in Delaware County and the other one worth $200,000 was sold in York County, Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced on Thursday.
Both winners matched the five white balls but failed to guess the red Powerball. The identities of the winners are unknown as the prizes haven’t been claimed. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated value of $140 million for the Saturday, February 6, drawing.
