Who is Dr Conrad Murray?

Dr. Conrad Murray is the man the Los Angeles Police Department homicide team investigating the death of 80s pop icon Michael Jackson want to talk to about the time leading up to the dead stars cardiac arrest.
Dr. Murray, is a cardiologist licensed to practice medicine in Texas and was living with Jackson at his rented Beverly Hills mansion as his personal physician.
Police sources are reported to have said the doctor gave Jackson an injection before he died.
Jackson family members have said the dead entertainer received a daily injection of a synthetic narcotic similar to morphine – Demerol –and yesterday he received a shot at 11:30am from Dr. Murray.
The Houston cardiologist is reported to have performed CPR until paramedics arrived, and continued doing so at UCLA Medical Centre.
According to the vitals.com website, which allows patients to grade doctors, Dr. Murray completed medical school in 1989 at Meharry Medical College School Of Medicine in Nashville, Tn., and then an Internal Medicine residency at the same school in 1992.
He completed a Fellowship in cardiology in 1995 at the same school, as well as another a year later in Interventional Cardiology.
Dr Murray is affiliated with Doctors Hospital Tidwell in Houston, TX, Saint Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, NV, and St.Rose - Rose de Lima & Siena Campus.
His profile on the site lists him as an internal medicine specialist, specializing in Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease, while another site he is listed as working for Global Cardiovascular Associates in Las Vegas, NV.
Prior to his name being linked to the death of Jackson, Dr. Murray was described by patients on the vitals.com website as the “best cardiologist” and “one of the most caring doctors I have ever met”.
However, since his name has become public, the comment section has been flooded with messages of abuse from Jackson fans labeling the doctor a murder and questioning why has not talked to police yet.
Jackson family members are claiming the dosage the King of Pop received from Dr. Murray yesterday was “too much” and it’s what caused the entertainers death.
LAPD has confirmed the BMW with Texas license plates that was towed from Jackson’s rented mansion by police investigators is registered to Murray’s sister, and said to contain “medications pertinent to the investigation.”
Murray’s account of what happened could be critical in establishing what happened to Jackson, who is rumored to have suffered a Demerol overdose.
An autopsy has been performed on the dead entertainer, but the results of toxicology tests will not be known for several weeks.
Dr. Conrad Murray is reported to be preparing to meet with investigators today.

This Son of mine calling himself a Doctor is a quack, no one should have trusted him!! he has been no good since day one the day that he started his practice! He did not listen to Me when I talked to him over his earloabs, you all can hear me ther it is so simple, long story. He degraded Michael and I ordered him to never again put his hands on my son,but did he listen?! don’t think so, so I got something for that clown!! yes THIS IS GOD, I made this here invention, the internet and can come across it as often as I please, I’ll get my messages out no matter what I use! he is responsible for the passing on of Michael from one planet to another, for heaven is a planet. I agree with the first response (Kay), Dr. Conrad Murray according to http://www.mdnationwide.org did his residency in Internal Medicine, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA, 91-92. He also had a Interventional Cardiology fellowship at University of California, San Diego, CA, 95-96. Also, according to the site http://www.mdnationwide.org, when Michael Jackson died, Dr. Conrad Murray was not board-certified in cardiovascular disease (cardiology) or even internal medicine. MDNationwide.org rated this particular physician a 6 out of 10, according to their ratings.
I looked at a few other sites, however most offered limited information, therefore I found mdnationwide.org offered more data.
My heart goes out to Michael Jacksons family, friends, and fans.

To me Dr, Murray is just as wonderful a person as Michael Jackson, even moreso, because I know of him personally. He is one of the most beautiful people you would ever want to meet. I know that is why Michael Jackson chose him to be his personal doctor. How wonderful and tragic and how distorted the truth has become

It’s apparent to me that the caller on the 911 tape described Jackson’s lifeless body on the bed being “pumped” by his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murry. Yet, Dr. Murry’s initial assessment was that Jackson had a slight pulse but was unresponsive. I’ve got two problems with these allegations. The first is why perform cardio on someone with a weak pulse and the second is why didn’t the Dr. place Jackson’s body on the floor prior to beginning CPR? If true, both are errors I would only expect from either an inexperienced or incompetent healthcare provider. I know they’re out there but it is still difficult to fathom a medical doctor (especially a heart specialist)would be so flustered as to perform so poorly even under the most stressful conditions. Someone here wrote that he ( Dr. Murry)was an extremely nice and caring physician. The statement wreaks of naiveté and is a common oversight from many who rely on a Dr’s words and care without question. A great lesson to be learned by all. The medical board should thoroughly investigate Dr. Murry’s actions and care of his patients.

The comment is: Why I do not trust “He (whoever, maybe even Conrad Murray) is a wonderful doctor” sort of opinions. The explanation follows:
It is commonly accepted that dolphins are nice animals. So they are indeed: looking friendly with their smile looking face, told to have intellect almost (or even more) powerful than that of humant etc. They are so smart that if someone (maybe you) is swimming away from shore and are having troubles and are too far from the shore to call adequately for help, if someone is lucky enough to be near (just by chance) near some dolphine then the dolphine will push this lucky guy back to the shore to safe location.
In reality it all is not as good at all: dolphins are just playing. They are pushing people actually at random directions. Those who are lucky then get to the shore and have a chance to tell their stories. Others (forced to opposite directions) just do not tell anything anymore.
I had never been any kind of MJ fan - and I am not. Although I perhaps will by some CDs of him now.
Just as a medical doctor (addicted to different sorts of conspiracy theories, I should add to be fair) I can say that what I am reading right now on news servers looks really suspicious regarding Mr. Murray’s qualifications, skills and abilities. Right now on Russian Wikipedia page on MJ death it is said that he (Dr. Murray) discovered MJ in bed not breathing and it took him 30 minutes to call for SEQURITIES in Neverland because there was no telephone in the bedroom and he did not want to make a call with his cellular phone since he “did not know the address” (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%80%D1%82%D1%8C_%D0%9C%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%BA%D0%BB%D0%B0_%D0%94%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B0). Give me a frackin break! Jackson’s death is all someone else’s fault? How convenient! He knew the injections he had been asking for along with all the other prescript meds could be lethal…but then who thought..including Micheal.. that “it” could happen to him. Word of Warning: Don’t take unneccesary heavy duty drugs…death is a possible side effect!
I am sad he is gone…but lets learn from hs mistake, instead of trying to make someone else pay for Micheal Jacksons’s own mistakes in judgement.

Hannamarie yes, but every doctor make The Hippocratic Oath and it’s his bloody responsibility to help his patient, even if it means that he must say “no”.
Michael Jackson was rich, but he wasn’t a doctor, he could think that it was safe, or even lie, to get those drugs. But no doctor should give it to him!
That’s why I think that Murray and every docs like him should be punished and their licences should be canceled

Conrad Murray is from Grenada. How he was able to get into the US, who paid for his college and medical education…how long he has been in the U S. Is he a legal citizen is of great interest to me. And…just who introduced MJ to Murray and why is also of interest. I find it plausible that MJ hired Murray because no American-born physician would engage in such shenanigans. I see we have not come very far in this debate about Dr. Murray. Of all the comments that I have read, none of them include DR. ARNOLD KLEIN as the suspect who started the death wish on Michael Jackson. 2)After Michael left rehearsal the night before he died, followed up with a visit with DR.ARNOLD KELIN near midnight before he went home. WHY WAS MICHAEL AT DR. KLEIN’S OFFICE OR HOME AFTER MIDNIGHT???????? You’ve got it. For an injection or some drug to help him to sleep, you think. 3)So don’t be so naive and blind to the true murder with a motive. Motive number one, ruin Michael before the performance and two, let Dr. Murray take all the blame. 4)Dr. Murray didn’t know that Michael had seen DR. KLEIN before he came homethat night. QUESTION THE DRIVER ABOUT MICHAEL’S VISIT TO DR.ARNOLD KLEIN AFTER REHEARSAL. Klein is using every distraction that he can think of to take the spotlight off of himself. I think Weismonger’s comment is unfair to Africans. You are entitled to your own opinion but you should not just make statement that are not true or general publicly. Its a pity that MJ had to die this way and even Africans are feeling the pain of his loss too. I have been a fan of MJ even as a little girl in Africa. There are so many African doctors all over the world doing very well. Dr. Murray’s issue is not about the race, it is about him as a person. I have friends that studied in best American schools and came out top in their classes. I think if you do your online search very well, you will find many African minds that are wonderful and creative. I am 100% sure you have not been to any African country and probably think Ghana is in Asia. Instead of sitting in your world and forming a picture of Africans in your little mind, why not go online and explore the beauty and greatness of Africa. Its there, you just have to open your eyes and heart to see it.

for 150000 dollars per month michael would found any doctor who give him anything he want. because he did not take a no for a answer. for that monthly payment a lot other docters would have done it and michael was old and wise enough that he knew that was not healty.for that kind of money people melt like butter in the sun. michael knew he get anything for a surtine price of money cause he had no relation to his on finance. i bet he did not know how much money he had.heard he did not even had a bank accound. he left his finance in other peoples hands.he would not even know if they ript him off.
