Nov. 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) President Obama celebrated the first Halloween Party in the White House. As stated by the sources, on the Halloween Night the White House appeared to resemble a “Halloween Carnival”. It has also come to the news that the Halloween Party preparation in the White House had been going on for a couple of months. Like the other occasions of the White House, the Halloween Night celebration also created quite a buzz.

People were interested to know what the First Lady and the President had planned for the night. There was also a lot of interest to know about the dresses that the Obama family had planned to wear on the Halloween Night. People were very much interested to know about Michelle Obama’s dress, as she has already gained recognition as being immensely fashionable. The First Lady had reportedly worn a “leopard-patterned top” with “furry cat ears”. The President was not seen wearing the Halloween costume though. Robert Gibbs, the Press Secretary had dressed to resemble Darth Vadar.

Almost two thousand kids had reportedly turned up at the Halloween Party, dressed in the garbs of skeletons, fairies, pirates and super-heroes. The White House was decorated with a Halloween theme that included the orange light, to give it a spooky look. Sources stated that the three pumpkins that were used in the Halloween decorations, had weighed about thousand pounds. The children have reportedly had a great time at the White House with the first family. Later the President and the First Lady had attended a reception that was meant for the White House staffs and their families.
