California, July 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Stephen Kadlec, the man who had gate-crashed his way into a wedding ceremony in California and stolen gifts and cash from the ceremony house has been arrested by the California police. The authorities went on the man’s trail after identifying him with the help of a picture of the man that was recorded in the surveillance camera being used in the marriage. The 38 year old man has been charged of stealing the married couple’s gift box and cash from the reception party.

The surveillance system fitted inside the Garden Room Chapel in California where the party was taking place, caught Stephen Kadlec snooping into the couple’s private area and checking out the gifts, the cash and the cheques. The man was also caught walking out of the wedding place with the stolen gifts, giving the California police enough reason to put him behind bars.

The arrest surely makes one thing clear and that is that the video surveillance cameras at the Garden Room Chapel were in excellent condition. Although nothing has been divulged about the prison term that Stephen Kadlec will have to undergo, he will expectedly have a tough time as the man even now has a charge of commercial burglary to his name. The video footage which helped the police to identify Stephen Kadlec shows him putting his hands inside a box and walking away with envelopes which supposedly contained money in them. Stephen Kadlec is seen attempting to drop an envelope which he carries with himself into the box, but never does so, instead walking off with many other envelopes from inside the married couple’s own gift box.
