BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) – A Coral Springs, Florida man, suspect of committing a bank robbery at a local casino, fatally shot himself on Monday after being surrounded by a SWAT team outside an Oakland Park house, Broward Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday.

Dominic Jason Zibuda, 27, was captured on surveillance video while executing an armed robbery at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on January 29. The next day, an anonymous informant told investigators information regarding the robbery that led to Zibuda, a man with a long criminal history and an active warrant for burglary.

Many law enforcement agents arrived at a North Andrews Gardens house. Two men and one woman step voluntarily out of the house. Zibuda remained inside. When he saw himself surrounded by policemen, he fired multiple shots hitting no one. After various unsuccessful attempts to contact him a SWAT team entered the house.
