Virginian Pilot’s Official Website Was Out Of Order Today

Oct 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reports said that the Virginian Pilot Website was down today. According to Virginian Pilot newspaper website, PilotOnline.com, their official website showed the “500 - Internal Server Error” message.
It was however noted that the Sub domains of the website was in working order, that indicated that the server overload was not the problem. It was therefore reported that the problem was not much of a problem and therefore it could be fixed. As predicted, the problem was fixed in sometime and the problem was soon resolved. Now the website is back to its form and is in working order.
PilotOnline.com, is the news portal of one of the leading newspapers in Norfolk, Virginia, that serves mainly the Hampton Roads metropolitan area. This includes mainly the southeastern Virginia, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and northeastern North Carolina. The official website of this leading newspaper was launched in 1993. Both the website, PilotOnline.com, and the broadsheet newspaper, The Virginian Pilot, are a division of Pilot Media Companies. This media giants also own several other media houses like LNC (Local News on Cable)/Pilot13 News, Direct printing, Inside Business, Hamptonroads.tv, Link, The Flagship, Military Newspapers of Virginia along with several other supplement and print web business.
PilotOnline.com, contributes a lot to the revenue of the media house, and its sudden problem, disappointed hundreds of readers who rely on the website for daily news. The entire website consists of more than 40 news sections. In total it has more than 84 sections featuring articles and blogs on several fields of interest, that caters to different niche readers daily. The website also pulls up its revenue with a whole lot of classified ads, which makes itself a perfect substitute for its broad sheet counterpart.
