Washington, Feb 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Van Jones, who had resigned from his office of the White House Council owing to Environmental Quality last fall, is planning a comeback from his self exile. As he plans to get along, he will be teaching at Princeton University and coordinating a senior fellowship at the Center for American Progress. Quite evidently Van Jones will be dealing with a programme that is called “Green Opportunity Initiative.”
The founder of “Green for All” and online civil rights group called “Color of Change,” Van Jones delivered a bestseller called “The Green Collar Economy”. The book is a sharp insight into employing blueprint for using green technologies bringing jobs to re-industrialized American cities. Van Jones was also a major driving force behind the “2007 Green Jobs Act”.
Van Jones was the former “green jobs czar” for the President Barack Obama Administration. Van Jones has also been recognized with an Image Award from the NAACP. As put forward by the NAACP President Benjamin Todd Jealous, Van Jones has been regarded as “An American Treasure” who is also “the most misunderstood man in America”. This is indeed a lamentable fact taken into consideration what this man has done in the past. The question that remains prominent is that it’s not only Van Jones, but also other black fellow mates who are to be honored for their contributions and deeds towards the American society at large. Indeed the second chance for Van Jones is quintessential. He intends to achieve the right to a healthy community where the civil rights shall be granted and accepted on large scale.
