U.S. soldier dies in vehicle roll-over in Iraq
March 17th, 2010 - 1:29 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE SPEICHER, IRAQ (BNO NEWS) – A United States soldier died of injuries he suffered in a vehicle roll-over on March 15, U.S. Forces in Iraq said Tuesday.
The unnamed soldier was active in the United States Division – North, and was conducting a patrol in northern Iraq when the incident occurred. Three other soldiers were taken to a military medical facility to be treated after being injured in the same accident.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense as the incident continues to be investigated.
