US News and World Report release their College ranking list for 2010
August 18th, 2010 - 1:17 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattWashington DC, Aug 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) US News and World Report’s annual college rankings are out for 2010. This years ranking’s have schools in Massachusetts taking most of the top slots including Harvard University, William’s college etc. MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) has secured 7th position in the rankings charts for itself.
As far as the national liberal arts college is concerned then the college to ace the list is none other than the Williams College. And following it in the second position is the Amherst College. Smith College lagged far behind at the 14th position.
As the seniors in high school would be debating where to apply and which college to choose at this time, so the list couldn’t have come at a better time. It surely would help a lot of students to make some apt decisions in their career and choose a college, which would be the best one to further their education.
Recently the Forbes Magazine had also released their college rankings list. And their list was quite predictable to say the least, as most of the top colleges were placed on the top of the list, which was aced by Princeton University.
