University Of Washington Student Carly Henley Found Dead

carly-henley-200x300 A 20-year-old student of the University of Washington has been found dead by authorities in a stairwell of the fraternity house near the university. According to authorities, the body of the young woman was first spotted by a passerby near the Phi Delta Theta fraternity while he is was making his way through the parking lot. The woman has been identified as Carly Henley, a student of the University of Washington.

Although authorities have confirmed that a thorough investigation has been launched in the case to ascertain the circumstances which led to the death of the 20-year-old woman, the evidences that have been gathered till now point out that the girl might have committed suicide. The details of the cause of Carly Henley’s death still remains sketchy but Seattle police have revealed that the 20-year-old died owing to ‘asphyxiation due to hanging.’ In the meanwhile, a statement has also been issued by the family members of the deceased student which reads that the University of Washington student took her own life on Wednesday near the university campus while adding that the sudden demise of Carly Henley has left all her family members as well as friends grieving. At the same time, the family also urges everyone to respect their privacy at this moment of distress.

Carly Henley’s friends at the University of Washington remembers her as an aspiring singer and songwriter while the 20-year-old was also one of the important member of the Delta Gamma sorority on the university campus. Meanwhile, a candlelight vigil to remember the young woman is likely to be held on Friday night.
