Atlanta, Aug 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The national top party school title for this year has been won by the University of Georgia.

The list, which was compiled by the Princeton Review, was released on Monday. This is the first time that the University has been named the top party school. However the school has been on the top ten list since 1992 when the list was introduced.

But the school authorities are clearly not pleased with the title. The spokesman for the University - Tom Jackson said the University never wished to be top of such a list at all.

On the list, the University of Georgia edged Pennsylvania to ace the list. The University also edged out West Virginia University and University of Florida who along with the Pennsylvania University were ranked on the top of the list for the past three years.

The compilers of the list say the list is purely based on voluntary e-mail surveys of about 122,000 students of colleges and Universities throughout the country.

The other placeholders of the top ten universities on the infamous list are Georgia, Ohio University, Penn State University, West Virginia University, University of Mississippi, University of Texas, University of Florida, University of California, University of Iowa and DePauw University.
