Unidentified Body Found Near Norma Lopez’s Abduction Site

norma-st1July 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Norma Lopez, the Moreno Valley teenage girl was reported missing since last Thursday. The recent investigation which has triggered shock in Norma Lopez’s family is the authorities in Southern California reported that a body has been found near the location where Norma Lopez disappeared on her way back home. The 17 years old girl from Valley View High School did not return home after her classes which generally gets over at 10 a.m. The Police found signs of struggle in the field from where she used to take shortcut.

The investigators still cannot assure if that is Norma Lopez’s body as the body is still unidentified. The body was discovered yesterday afternoon two miles away from where the 17 years girl was abducted. Sgt. Joe Borja of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said that the police could not confirm who it was or even the sex of the body. The family of Norma Lopez and the officials are not sure if the body is of the teenage girl.

The family of the missing girl pleaded in the news conference that if the person who took Norma Lopez out to let “her go” and also added that she had not done anything to anyone to deserve “this” at all. The police had been searching from door to door and investigating in each and every aspect to get a clue about the missing girl since last week, but they still cannot identify any suspect. The FBI investigators too have left no stone unturned regarding their search for the missing girl. Sgt. Joe Borja of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said that the police contacted every friend or family member of Norma Lopez but could gather no information about her which leads them to believe that she is a “runaway”.
