U.N. Secretary-General Ban condemns ‘heinous’ terror attacks in Moscow
March 29th, 2010 - 10:32 pm ICT by BNO NewsUNITED NATIONS (BNO NEWS) — United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday strongly condemned the twin suicide bombings that took place in Moscow’s subway system, killing 38 people and injuring more than 100 others.
“The Secretary-General is confident that the Russian authorities will bring to justice the perpetrators of this heinous terrorist attack,” his spokesperson said. “The Secretary-General extends his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and to the Government and people of the Russian Federation.He also wishes the many injured a swift recovery.”
