UK Ambassador to Iran summoned
December 29th, 2009 - 7:01 pm ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )LONDON (BNO NEWS) — A spokesperson for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office released the following statement on Tuesday, saying Iran summoned the UK Ambassador.
“The UK Ambassador to Iran, Simon Gass, has been summoned. He will respond robustly to any criticism of David Miliband’s statement yesterday. He will reiterate FS’s comments that the Iranian Government must respect the human rights of its own citizens.”
