uahHuntsville, Alabama, Feb 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In yet another horrifying incident of violence on university campus, three people have been killed in the shooting that took place in the University of Alabama Huntsville. Three others were injured in the shooting, one of whom is said to be in critical condition, while the other two, it has been reported, have become more or less stable. The ones who had been killed in the shooting are all faculty members of the University, Dr. Adriel Johnson, Dr. G.K. Podila and Dr. Maria Ragland. Dr. Joseph Leahy, another faculty member, is currently admitted in the Huntsville Hospital, critically injured.

The other two are Dr. Luis Rogello, another member of the faculty and Stephanie Monticciolo, a staff assistant. A professor of Biology at the University of Alabama Huntsville, Dr. Amy Bishop, and her husband, Jim Anderson, have been arrested under suspicion of being involved in the shooting. They are being detained at this point by the police as part of the investigations into the matter. It is being suspected by the police that Dr. Amy Bishop might have taken this step in order to get back at the University, in which she had been denied tenure.

However, the police have not yet confirmed the identity of the shooter, though she was described as dressed in a pink sweater over a black and white shirt. In an emergency notification of the official website of the University of Alabama Huntsville, it has been stated that no students were involved in the shooting. All classes have been canceled for the day and students have been advised to go back home.
