brawlAug 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A reputed media source reported that the cause of a fight was disparaging remarks by one women on a social networking site about another’s favorite basketball team. The two women have been charged with misdemeanors for a fight that led to noisy quarrel during a Southern California kindergarten graduation ceremony.

Queiona Burt and Marina Ruth Vargas got into a fight back in June at Puesta del Sol Elementary in Victorville, California where they came to attend the graduation ceremony of their children. The fight took a bad turn when the male members also joined in, involving 20 people, eventually leading to a brawl. However, nobody was hurt or injured but police arrested these two women in question.

San Bernardino County investigators said that the fight started verbally and then it became physical, creating a messy atmosphere on school ground. The school officials were forced to lock-down the school and announce that in future no guardians will be allowed to attend any ceremony in school.

The attorneys say that these women can face up to six months jail if convicted for breaking the peaceful conduct of the school and up to 90 days of jail if convicted for unlawful acts on school premises. Queiona Burt and Marina Ruth Vargas are expected to appear in court to answer their indictment and complaint in front of the judge on August 25. Queiona Burt in the homepage of her social networking site apologized to the school and the community for her deed and she said that she was trying to defend herself.
