Two U.S. fugitives detained in Baja California, Mexico
March 13th, 2010 - 2:36 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO (BNO NEWS) – Two U.S. fugitives were detained in Mexico, local authorities said Friday.
Jason Douglas Wallace and Viviana Magana, both U.S. nationals, ages 27 and 35, respectively, were located and arrested by local law enforcement officers after they conducted a surveillance near their residence in the town of Tecate, Baja California.
Wallace was being sought for drug trafficking charges, as well as theft and violating is supervised release, while Magana was also being sought for violating her supervised release after being caught trying to cross 113 kilograms of marijuana into the U.S.
They are currently in the custody of local law enforcement awaiting further prosecution.
