MCALLEN, TEXAS (BNO NEWS) – Two men were arrested and charged in McAllen, Texas, of conspiracy to receive or possess a machine gun not registered to them, U.S. Attorney Jose Angel Moreno announced.

Joel Santos, 23, of Mission, Texas, and Gustavo Chavez-Delamora, 18, of Michoacán, Mexico, were arrested by special agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

Santos allegedly contacted a man, who was an undercover ATF agent, with the intent to buy 10 fully automatic machine guns.
