Los Angeles, Dec 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Two legged dog called ‘Faith’ who walks despite being so disabled is a source of inspiration for several disabled veterans. For many years, Jude Stringfellow and her Lab-chow mix breed Faith have toured the country with a simple message: Faith walks and so anybody can overcome their disabilities.

Faith was born without any front legs to a junkyard dog around Christmas 2002, and because of this anomaly ‘Faith the puppy’ was rejected and abused by her mother no end. She was then rescued by Reuben Stringfellow, who is now an Army E-4 specialist, who had been asked to bury other puppies in the litter. But apparently he had other plans. He consulted his mother, “Can we fix her? Stringfellow. “No, but maybe we can help her,” she said.

‘A two-legged dog, aptly named Faith, has been spreading hope and love to disabled veterans in the years since her recovery from a very difficult puppyhood’, according to her owner Jude Stringfellow.

And his story is inspiring to say the least. The energetic Faith is a sweet, loving, absolutely delightful pup that carries her own message “Faith Walks” everywhere as she actually walks on her two hind legs.

She has become an international celebrity, too, and an inspiration to hospitalized veterans around the world. She is a big inspiration to all the people who are disabled or wheelchair-bound.

Faith took her first step on March 22, 2003, and since then, Faith has done the talk show circuit, gone on tour with Ozzy Osbourne and been named an honorary Army sergeant. Jude Stringfellow has become a motivational speaker and written two books. Next year, the two are moving from Ardmore, Okla., to Chicago where they plan to write a third called “Faith Walks.”
