Washington DC, Dec 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The U.S. Transportation Security Administration quiet unknowingly posted a document online which contains secrets related to airport passenger screening practices, the Washington Post reported on Wednesday.

The manual has very revealing insights and shows sample CIA and other law enforcement credentials and also quiet shockingly also tells about the limitations of x-ray screening machines. “This manual provides a road map to those who would do us harm,” Collins told ABC News. “The detailed information could help terrorists evade airport security measures.”

However TSA tried to do damage control too, over this accidental exposure on the Internet, as a TSA spokesperson said the document posted online is an outdated version “improperly posted by the agency to the Federal Business Opportunities Web site wherein redacted material was not properly protected.” However it said that it is conducting a full review of the security breech.

“TSA has many layers of security to keep the traveling public safe and to constantly adapt to evolving threats,” the agency said in a statement. “TSA is confident that screening procedures currently in place remain strong.”

“It increases the risk that terrorists will find a way through the defenses,” Stewart A. Baker, a former assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, said.
