Washington DC, April 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Transportation Security Administration has been criticized fiercely for subjecting a 6-year-old girl to the enhanced pat-down. The act was filmed and posted on YouTube.

According to the parents of the girl, they do not understand why Anna Drexel was singled out to undergo the test. They claim that after the experience, Anna broke down and cried because she thought she was selected for the procedure because of something that she had done.

Anna’s parents, Todd and Selena were on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” During the show, the parents gave details of the incident. Selena said that she asked the TSA agents to subject the little girl to the full body scanner but she claim that they refused.

The TSA has come out to defend the actions of the agent in the video. In a statement that was read by CNN, the TSA said that after reviewing the video and the conduct of the agent in the video, they believe that the agent did not go against any of the standard procedures.

The Drexel family is not convinced and says they would fight to ensure that the TSA changes the way that children are checked at the various airports.
