Try the New Vermont Company Jesus Toaster

September 18, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Barely six years have passed since a Florida woman auctioned off a grilled cheese sandwich having an image of the Virgin Mary on it. Now a Vermont man has come up with a new toaster design that will burn the image of Jesus Christ on every slice of bread that goes into it. The so-called Vermont Company Jesus toaster is available at retail stores for $39.95.
The unique toaster utilizes a patented radiated heat technique to imprint the face of Christ on any type of daily bread. It has been developed by Galen Dively III of Walden. The toaster was recently put on his website for online shoppers. Like a true entrepreneur, Dively has a deep faith in the prospect of his new creation and sees a great market ahead of him.
Dively has outsourced the manufacturing process to China to cut costs and right now 3,000 units of the toaster are available for purchasing. According to Dively, this appliance will be a huge hit with church and school groups. Dively believes that the Christian authorities as well as Christians everywhere would buy his toaster en masse.
Galen Dively has just floated a new company called ‘Burnt Impressions’, which is expected to be a huge success.While demonstrating the simple functioning of the toaster to store managers and purchasing agents, the businessman also stated that he has plans to create a Virgin Mary as well as Star of David Toasters in the near future.
