September 17th, 2010 - 11:23 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattSep 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A memorial trust fund has been set up for Brian Wood’s pregnant wife.
The fund, which is set in memory of the designer, will receive donations in cash, through regular mail and on the Internet through electronic payment system. A website has been created to provide more information on the fund. The site is brianwoodmemorialtrust.com
Brian Wood died last week after his car crashed head-on with another vehicle. Brian lost control of his car resulting in the crash. On the account of the accident, Brian’s wife, Erin told the media that Brian swerved the car on the last second to protect her and the unborn baby, taking the brunt of the crash.
Szymon Mazus of Radical Entertainment said Brian was the most down to earth person anyone could work with. He explained that the fund would help Erin and the yet-to-be-born baby to go through the tragic moments. He said that, “Brian was a very close friend… He was just the kindest, most down to earth person you could ever hope to meet, as is Erin. We have set up a trust fund to help Erin and the baby during this very difficult time.”
Erin was in the car with Brian when the accident occurred she survived with the pregnancy. She is six months pregnant.
