New York, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Train killer Gerardo Sanchez who killed a commuter on a D Train on Saturday is said to have behaved very strangely and seemed more like a lunatic. According to witnesses he was acting wildly disorganized and disoriented.
He boarded the first car of a northbound D train at Rockefeller Center at around 2 a.m. and immediately went berserk in the train. He started eating something and made a huge mess out of it. He then ordered a thirty-six year old Johnson to make some room for him on a specific seat, even though there were plenty of available seats on the train. When Johnson pointed out this fact, then Sanchez acted very violently.
Johnson wizened up and immediately made room for him, but by that time Sanchez’s blood was already boiling and he was very angry. He settled down on the seat and pulled out a knife and stabbed Johnson. By fluke, his carotid artery was cut and Johnson was died instantaneously.
After the killing, he opened the subway doors and dropped his knife on the tracks and said that he wanted to go home.
