Toyota to unveil their 2012 Camry today
August 24th, 2011 - 12:15 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Aug 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Toyota will unveil the redesigned 2012 version of their Camry car on Twitter and the company’s website on Tuesday. In a teaser video which was released on the Internet last month, the global President of Toyota, Akio Toyoda, promised that the vehicle will be the best of the brand ever.
The company is using series of web events including live-chat on Twitter to detail the features of the vehicle to customers. Toyota hopes to use the awareness program to get their customers interested in owning the vehicle.
Camry is not just any vehicle. In the last 14 years, the vehicle has been rated as the best-selling in the United States for 13 times. The company announced that Camry has been the best-selling vehicle consecutively for the last nine years.
Camry 2012 has already been unveiled. Toyota says they are going to launch the redesigned version of the vehicle. The event will start at 1pm E.T. and customers are expected to log onto the chat 15 minutes ahead of time using the hashtag #CamryLive.
Toyota will be accepting questions from its customers during the live chat. Toyota’s group vice president Bob Carter will take customer queries on the hashtag #CamryChat.
