Toyota Matrix Hogs Attention At The Chicago Auto Show

hfgshsfhgfhfhFeb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Toyota the noted Japanese car maker revamped its hatchback Matrix about a couple of years back. It seems that the company was not fully content with the results. That explains why it has unveiled another revamped version of the 2011 matrix at the Chicago Auto Show. The new model has been equipped with a number of new features and technologies which will help Toyota to pitch it against number of other rival models in the market. The feature list includes Traction Control, Smart Stop Technology brake-override, Anti-Lock brakes and Vehicle Stability Control. If the buyer chooses the high end Matrix S he will get leather-trimmed steering wheel which has audio control along with hands-free Bluetooth.

The base model of the 2011 Toyota Matrix comes with a four-cylinder 1.8 l engine that generates 138 HP. The Toyota Matrix S offers 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 158 horsepower. The options for manual and automatic transmissions are there. The buyers also get a plethora of customization choices with the Matrix. The major change in the base model of the Matrix is that it now comes with features like cruise control, power door locks and power windows as standard and thee were optional in the 2010 model.

The upholstery for the seats of the Matrix has also been upgraded which would please the finicky buyers. The buyers can also opt for alloy wheel which gives the car a sportier look. The Matrix does seem to be a viable option for the hatchback buyers who are looking for the best valuer for money. However, the automatic transmission system used in the car is definitely not the best.
