Tommy Lynn Sells confesses to the attack on Krystal Surles on TV

Krystal Surles San Francisco, Nov 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) CBS Channel has launched a new series called “Live to Tell” on ‘48 Hours’, the popular television series. It featured the serial killer Tommy Lynn Sells on Saturday. The episode, which was aired on the channel, was named “Krystal’s Courage”, as it showed the tragic tale of Krystal Surles as she recounted the episode when she was brutally attacked by the serial killer Tommy Lynn Sells, along with her sister. She recounted all the horrific events of that night, and her journey full of struggles post that attack and her incredible will to survive that brought the infamous serial killer Tommy Lynn to his fair justice.

The brutal incident took place on the December 31, 1999 when Krystal Surles was just 10 years old. She was along with her 13-year-old sister Katy Surles and they both were staying with a family friend in Del Rio in Texas. That night Tommy Lynn Sells slipped into their bedroom through a window. He brutally attacked Katy multiple times and stabbed her 16 times, which proved fatal for her.

Then he turned his attention to Krystal Surles and slashed her throat and left her bleeding. Krystal was a brave little girl, who ran to a neighbors house for help and she remembered the killer’s face so vividly that she recounted it in detail to the police, who were also successful in nabbing him, courtesy her vivid details.

Tommy Lynn Sales confessed to the crime and also admitted other murders that he had committed over a period of time.
