June 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A family as well a crew of firefighters had to work frantically to try to release the three year old girl after the toddler became trapped in a washing machine during playtime in her China home. The little girl had somehow managed to get her legs into the machine on Friday and once settled there, was not able to get out.

Her mother ran to her frightened screams, and found the toddler trapped in the family washing machine. She struggled to free her daughter, to no avail, and was forced to call emergency services for help in rescuing her baby.

When the Chinese rescuers reached the scene, they found a terrified three year old girl with her legs stuck in the washing machine, and her mother trying to calm her. The firefighters proceeded to cut the washing machine slowly away from the little girl, a process which took over an hour.

While the firefighters worked, the mother gave her daughter a bottle of milk, and soothed her as the machine was dismantled around her. Her legs had became jammed in the drum but she was finally released by the rescue team. She was taken to a nearby hospital for a check up and was stated to be unharmed.
