Today is ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’

The special day has been unofficially set aside as the Random Acts of Kindness Day and individuals around the world are encouraged to show acts of kindness to complete strangers.
The name of the day fully explains what it is all about. Individuals all the over the world are encouraged on the day to randomly choose a person to be kind to. It is that simple but has a lot of rewards.
The acts of giving and receiving have been one of the fascinating subjects over the years. For some strange reasons which no one seems to fully understand, people who shows acts of charity ends up with more in return than those who receive.
The principle is the same for institutions and even nations. Take the developed and the developing world for instance. The developed nations give out billions of dollars to the poor nations each year but that has not changed the balance. The rich nations are getting richer while most of the poor nations who love to receive all that they can lay their hands on keep getting poorer.
As you step out to mark this important day, know that what you give only find itself to you, just that this time, it comes in multiples of what you gave.
