Three U.S. soldiers killed in Afghanistan
August 20th, 2009 - 12:52 am ICT by adminKABUL (BNO NEWS) — Three more U.S. soldiers died in southern Afghanistan on Wednesday, officials said.
Two soldiers died in a small arms attack during a patrol in southern Afghanistan, the third soldier died in a separate incident as result of a hostile attack, the NATO-led ISAF alliance confirmed.
“We extend our earnest sympathies to the families and friends of the service members who lost their lives today,” said Brig. Gen. Eric Tremblay, who is a spokesman for ISAF.
