Three suspected terrorists captured in Iraq

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (BNO NEWS) – Three suspected al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) criminal associates were captured on Tuesday, U.S. Forces in Iraq said.

Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and U.S. advisors conducted a joint security operation in northern Iraq in search of a suspected AQI member linked to acquiring vehicles and weapons used to carry out assassinations in west Mosul.

A building was searched in the northern-Iraqi city, and the information and evidence gathered at the scene led Iraqi forces to identify and arrest three criminal associates of the warranted individual.

Iraqi and U.S. forces conduct joint operations in accordance with the Security Agreement and in coordination with the Iraqi government to target terrorists seeking to disrupt the security and stability of Iraq.
