Three shot dead at Alabama university
February 13th, 2010 - 5:57 am ICT by BNO NewsHUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA (BNO NEWS) — At least three people were dead after a shooting spree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, officials said. There are an unknown number of injuries.
The incident happened between 4.10 and 4.15 p.m. local time in Shelby Hall, according to Trent Willis, the Chief of Staff of Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle.
Willis confirmed multiple people had been injured in the shooting, but was unable to provide more information.
Authorities are planning to hold a news conference in the “near future.”
