Three people shot outside a nightclub in Tampa, FL

TAMPA, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) — Three people were shot outside a nightclub in Tampa, Florida on early Monday, authorities said.

The shooting happened around 3.15 a.m. local time at the Sin City Gentlemen’s Club at 5636 East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Shortly after the shooting, deputies received an emergency call regarding multiple gunshots at the Gentlemen’s Club. First responders said the scene was chaotic when they arrived.

After arriving at the scene, two individuals were transported to University Community Hospital on Fletcher Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds. One of the two victims had a gunshot in his arm while the other had multiple gunshots to his torso.

The latter was subsequently transferred to the Tampa General Hospital and is being reported to be in critical condition. The third wounded arrived by himself at St. Joseph’s Hospital with a gunshot to the arm.

All three male victims were involved in a fight that took place outside the rear door to the nightclub. However, it is not clear how many men were involved in the shooting or the motive for the crimes.

Authorities are investigating the shootings.
