Three men arrested for credit card fraud in Nassau County, NY
January 18th, 2010 - 2:34 pm ICT by BNO NewsEAST GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – Three men were arrested in Nassau County for credit card fraud Saturday, police said.
According to police officials, the three defendants made purchases at Louis Vuitton using credit cards in their own name with magnetic strips or the rear of the cards showing different account numbers and the account holders. The defendants were arrested at the scene after the manager became suspicious and called the police. The proceeds were recovered and returned to the store.
Fitzpatrick Louis-Jean, 24, was charged with Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree (3 counts) and Attempted Grand Larceny 4th degree. Jean Pierre-Charles, 22, was charged with Possession of a Forged Instruments 2nd (2 counts) and Attempted Grand Larceny 4th degree. Noel Gayle, 25, was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd (2 counts) degree and Possession of a Forged Instrument (2 counts).
All defendants were arraigned Sunday in the First District Court.
