Pocatello, April 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Three bulls on Wednesday afternoon escaped from the Holt Arena in Pocatello. The escaped bulls were captured later about a mile from the arena.

The bulls were going to perform that night at the Extreme Bull show. The animals managed to get on the streets of Pocatello but officials managed to get the animals within minutes. The officials explained that once the animals escaped from the arena, the number one concern was to keep the public safe. One of the officials, Robert Askey who is the president of PFRO told reporters that they managed to get the animals cornered before capturing them.

Amber Porter who lives in the neighborhood told newsmen that, “When I first saw them it scared me because I know bulls can charge and so I actually yelled at my kids to get inside and then I grabbed them and yanked them inside and then we just watched. I wasn’t too concerned just because there were lots of policemen and rodeo people up here with trailers and so I wasn’t too concerned just because we were inside and I felt pretty safe.”

This is not the first time that bulls have escaped in Pocatello. Despite the fact that it has happened before there has been no major injuries or damages in the past. The Extreme Bull show went ahead later that night despite the incident.
