Three American soldiers die in Afghan bomb attack
February 13th, 2010 - 8:55 pm ICT by BNO NewsKABUL (BNO NEWS) — Three American troops were killed in a bomb attack in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, officials said.
The incident, which was not related to operation Moshtarak, happened in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar. “I can confirm an improvised explosive device (IED) incident in Kandahar with ISAF troops,” said master sergeant Jeff Loftin, a spokesman for the NATO-led ISAF alliance.
Loftin confirmed three American service members had been killed in the blast.
