Ottawa, Jan 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Thousands of cribs have been recalled once again by Dorel Asia as those cribs threatened the lives of children. As per the reports, seven thousand and six hundred drop side cribs manufactured by the Dorel Asia company have been recalled from the market as they possess the risk of suffocating a baby sleeping in it. The report says that the company has declared voluntary recall of the cribs as the drop side of the crib can get detached creating some space, in which an infant can get choked and die.

As per the reports, the cribs that have been subjected to recall were manufactured in Vietnam and China by the Dorel Asia Company of Barbados. The reports indicate that the company officials have decided to issue a recall of these cribs after receiving complaints from the users. Sources stated that in four cases the slat of the crib had broken while in three cases the drop down side of the crib had been detached. None of the reports indicated any severe injury for the problems of the crib. However, the makers do not want to endanger the life of the little babies and have advised people not to use these cribs.

According to the reports of the company officials, the cribs that have been recalled were sold during December and January. They have also mentioned the model names so that people can identify these cribs without any problem. The company has opened up its helpline to provide people the information about these cribs.
