Thieves steal $2000 of gas in a Pasadena service station

Pasadena, May 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the price of gas going through the roof, a group of robbers figured out that the commodity is the best thing to steal. The police are currently hunting for at least three people who were involved in a gas robbery in a service station.

The robbers managed to escape with over 500 gallons of gasoline from a service station at Pasadena. The robbers struck at the Mobil service station and the incident was caught on tape by a surveillance video. The police suspect that incident took place between 2 am and 4 am on Monday.

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported that a flatbed truck fitted with tanks was used in the robbery. The report says the stolen gasoline is worth $2,200. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

According to reports, the men were wearing hooded sweaters to conceal their faces. The police believe that the men knew what they were doing and they suspect that they are the same men who have carried out similar heists at other places in the country.

Investigators are working to unravel the mystery. About 528 gallons of gasoline were stolen.
