There might be more flooding in store for Arcadia, Wis.

Sep 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Western and central parts of Wisconsin as well as southeastern parts of Minnesota are getting ready for another round of heavy rains on Friday. There are already dozens of water logged areas from the heavy rains the day before.

Weather experts anticipate a cold front going through western and central Wisconsin, which will cause heavy rains as well as severe winds and thunderstorms. 13 counties in total have been warned of flooding in the 2 US states by the National Weather Center up to 9.30 on Friday morning.

Thousand of flood prevention materials such as sandbags have sent to cities such as Arcadia, Neillsville and Osseo.

Governors of both Minnesota and Wisconsin have issued emergency measures for many sections of their states. 3 to 5 inches of rain reportedly fell in parts of the two states according to the National Weather Service. The floods have resulted in many roads being closed as a result of safety concerns.

The most affected city from the floods was Arcadia, which is resided by about 2400 people. People had to be evacuated to safety as a result of the high rainfall, which resulted in floodwaters 3 foot high in many areas in the city. Arcadia is located about 100 miles south east of Minneapolis.
