The Worst rated trucks for 2010

New York, Dec 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) 2010 is almost over. There were several events in the year and like any other year, there are best and worst things including events.

On that score, the list of worst rated trucks for the year were compiled. The compilation though is based on its crash evaluation.

What makes such ranking important is the fact that accidents can rarely be prevented but when they happen, it is important for the vehicle to be able to provide some form of protection for the occupants of the vehicle. Based on this score, a number of cars and trucks have been ranked in this list of worse rated cars as per crash evaluation for the year 2010.

In 2010, the car that had the worst rated crash evaluation was Chrysler PT Cruiser. The car had a poor side and rear crash evaluation. That means if you are hit from the back or the side, your safety can seriously be compromised. The vehicle though has good front crash evaluation.

Next on the list is the Volkswagen New Beatle. The car has poor side crash evaluation. Though its rear crash evaluation is not good, it is considered acceptable.

The Jeep Wrangle 2 door follows on the list. The vehicle has poor side crash evaluation. It however has a marginal rear crash evaluation. The Chevrolet Aveo and Scion completes the top five list of cars with worse crash evaluation for 2010.
