New York, July 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Stephen Bruce has done it again. The renowned restaurateur has developed what could be described as the world’s most expensive hot dog.

Bruce who is the owner of Serendipity 3, made the hot dog on National Hot Dog Day on June 23. The hot dog is made of a foot long tube of meat that was decorated with black truffles, foie gras graced with white truffle butter grilled pretzel roll. The Guinness world record will enter the hot dog into the record books as the most expensive hot dog in the world, after it completes its vital processes.

Bruce who was highly excited about the hot dog said it is fun for him to always create something bigger and better.

Stephen Bruce opened Serendipity 3 in 1954 and since then, the company has made huge and monstrous delicacies. If the hot dog is entered into the Guinness world record, it will not be the first time that Bruce’s masterpiece has entered the record books. His restaurant developed the largest hot chocolate in the world. It was around four gallons. It also developed the world’s most expensive sundae. The restaurant succeeded in getting $1,000 for the sundae in 2004.
