New York, Oct 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Do you fancy having an encounter with the supernatural? If yes then you might consider checking the database of AllStays.com to find a hotel where you will find the extra benefit of “chilling feelings”.

AllStays.com has updated its database of the list of the most haunted hotels in the world.

The website lists the Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach, California as one of the most haunted hotels in the world. The hotel is located inside an ocean liner that has been permanently docked at the Port of Long Beach. The hotel’s swimming pool area has been identified as the most haunted place at the hotel.

Over the years that the hotel was commissioned, there have been strange happenings reported by guests and staff of at the hotel. Reports include disembodied voices, ghostly apparition, strange rapping noises and moving objects. These reports attracted investigators to the hotel who later confirmed these “strange” occurrences.

According to the reports, two women who drowned in the pool several years ago haunt the hotel’s first class swimming pool. Another ghost of a little boy who accidentally fell into the pool and died has also been reported. One of the women allegedly wears 1930 attire with the other wearing the attire of the 1960’s.

The Queen Mary Hotel on board the Queen Mary liner is not the only haunted hotel in the United States. Other hotels like, Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast in Massachusetts, The Stanley Hotel and Conference Center in Estes Park, Colorado, the Flanders in Ocean City, New Orleans and the Farnsworth House Inn in Gettysburg, PA are all among the most haunted hotels in the world.
